Breining Group will work with an organization to audit existing meetings, propose changes that are appropriate to the group, and train staff members to redesign their meetings. In the research project Convention 2020, findings show a dramatic shift taking place within the meeting industry. This shift will require innovation in event design and business models and the need to develop the professional capabilities required to survive and thrive in turbulent times.*
One of the challenges facing meeting executives is the need to redesign their existing meetings to reflect the changing needs of their attendees/membership. They must also focus on integrating social media to extend and underscore the meeting experience, integrate different methods of learning and absorbing information, and measure the value of meetings and events.
